Carrie is a nerdy, artsy, southern New Yorker. After being born and raised in Atlanta and attending a top 5 engineering school, she came to New York to study dance for a two-year stint that may well have become permanent. She considers herself a citizen of the world and loves culture, art, language, and many forms of artistic expression. Her favorite thing about being human is the opportunity to genuinely connect to and care for the people around her. She likes stories about imperfect individuals doing what they can to right bad situations. The stories she dreams about writing are about self-aware people who lean into their courage to overcome limitations offered by fear and make their worlds better. Spark Solo is one of those stories.
